There are third party assessments across IBM/HP/Dell that show Dell's blades to win on energy efficiency for similarly configured blades. Dell also beats IBM's server density given that Dell's blade chassis is 16 servers in 10u--better than any of IBM's blade chassis. Add to that the fact that Dell's chassis is newer and has more capabilities, and it seems unfortunate that HFCL settled on IBM. Did HFCL take a look at Dell blades?
